GH Star Laura Wright Celebrates Huge Milestone With Both Wes Ramsey And Ex-Husband
General Hospital (GH) star Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) can consider herself to be a very lucky woman. That’s because there aren’t many people out there that can say that they can be in the same room with both their ex-husband and their current boyfriend. And that’s exactly what happened this past weekend as all of Laura’s closest family members gathered to celebrate her daughter’s huge milestone moment. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Laura’s Instagram account, she and her family celebrated her daughter Lauren’s graduation from California Polytechnic State University. The actress, who is best known for her role as Carly Corinthos in Port Charles, shared a family photo with her son John, her ex-husband John and Wes.
Carly captioned her photo with, “Celebrating Lala. #graduationweekend woo hoo.”
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for her fans and followers to comment on her photo. Many of them said, “Congratulations to your beautiful daughter. But it’s crazy how much Josslyn looks like Lala!” along with, “What a great photo. You are definitely blessed Laura. Many blessings and congratulations to your daughter. You’ve got a great family.”
General Hospital Star Laura Wright Admits Divorce Wasn’t Easy
As many fans can recall, Laura was married to John Wright from 1995 to 2016. Despite being on good terms with her ex, Laura told Soap Opera Digest back in 2017 that all the transitions she had to make following her divorce was not easy.
She said at the time, “It’s a very interesting process, you know, to be in your 40s, getting divorced, being on a TV show, having kids going off to college and have to go, ‘Wow, who am I now?’ Believe me, I tried to run from it, probably for the first year and a half. You know the big ball that chases Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark? For me, that was pain and fear and loneliness and insecurity and feeling unworthy, all that stuff. I don’t care if you’re on a soap opera, everyone has their stuff.”
