Kristina Wagner (Felicia Cummings) on General Hospital recently remembered her late son, Harrison Wagner, who passed away in June of 2022. Aged just 27 at the time of his death, his mom still grieves him so deeply. But, her sharing about grief reaches many others who struggle with loss.
The Grief Of A Mom
Taking to her Instagram a day ago, Kristina Wagner shared two photos of her boy. In her caption, she told her GH fans that on December 1, Harrison would have celebrated his 31st birthday. Obviously, a birthday seems tragic once someone so promising has passed on.
In part, the real-life Felicia Cummings shared her pain. She said, “Posting this is a type of ritual for me. I think rituals are essential for healing. Grief is a solitary issue that I can’t face alone.” Additionally, she reminded her fans that she does her little ritual of remembrance every year.
“I know I have made several posts about my grief journey with Harrison for three years but somehow it keeps him present. It’s one of my many rituals,” she added before talking about how her son would react if he was still around.
“Harrison would love the attention, which I loved about him. The forever social butterfly. Happy Birthday dear one. I know, with certainty, you are always with me,” she wrote. Finally, Kristina Wagner quoted Eden Phillpotts, by saying, “The universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper.”

In the comments section, fans and friends let Kristina know she wasn’t alone with her grief. Finola Hughes (Anna Devane), ever caring about her fellow cast members, wrote, “Thank you for keeping him present for all of us. Happy Birthday, Harrison.”
Meanwhile, Laura Wright (Carly Spencer) said, “Big love to you.” And, Jon Lindstrom penned, “Mad love to you Kristina.” Then, Braedyn Bruner also chimed in with a birthday greeting for the lost son of Kristina and Jack Wagner.

A Sad death
Most GH fans know that sadly, Harrison Wagner passed away a few years ago from an accidental overdose. Any death is a sad occasion, but passing so young seems heartbreaking. He had dreams of becoming a famous DJ, but his young life was cut short. In honor of her son, his mom started a foundation that helps young men with addiction problems.
