General Hospital spoilers, news, and updates tease that Jane Elliot is returning to the soap starting April 17. The actress will reprise her role as Tracey Quartermaine for the sudser’s 60th anniversary.
Her return was previously announced, along with the news that Emma Samms is coming back as Holly Sutton on April 14.
Fans may recall that Elliot first appeared on the soap back in 1978. Since her debut, she’s been making sporadic appearances over the years. She was nominated four times for a Daytime Emmy Award. She managed to bag a trophy for Supporting Actress in 1981.
Elliot also played the same role during a crossover at ABC’s sister soap, The City, in 1996. The actress decided to retire in 2017 and was eventually written off General Hospital after her character went to Europe with Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary).
Her most recent appearance on the soap was last January and February 2022, when her character learned about Luke’s accident in Austria. She attended Luke’s memorial and went to Amsterdam to settle his affairs.
General Hospital promises a big storyline to celebrate the soap’s 60th anniversary. It hinted at beloved characters working together to stop a threat posed by a legendary icon from the past. It seems like Tracy and even Holly are returning to Port Charles to put a stop to Victor’s schemes.
Fans are hoping that Tracy’s return means Luke may be alive. However, there’s no news that Geary is reprising his role to celebrate the show’s milestone.
General Hospital Spoilers – Lucy Coe Wants To Attend The Nurses Ball
Elsewhere, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will argue about something, and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) can use that as an opportunity to sneak out of the safe house. The latter wants to attend the Nurses Ball so she can make a grand entrance once the celebration starts.

Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) needs to make difficult decisions to keep his family safe from the recent threat. Even Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will worry that Sonny’s latest enemy may strike again.
Sonny will talk to someone about how he plans to handle the latest threat. The conversation will be intense and brutally honest. Fans need to stay tuned to find out what Sonny intends to do.
