General Hospital Spoilers: Will The SEC Accusations Drive Drew Cain & Carly Spencer Apart?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that there may be some drama for Darly, up ahead. The couple got hauled in for insider trading, and while they taking a united stance on this, once things start getting “real”, will the couple fall apart at the seams?
GH Spoilers: Carly Spencer Has Options, But Will She Move Forward
GH spoilers for the week of June 5th reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will come to a realization. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) recently laid out some options for her client on how she can get off on these insider trading charges she’s up against. One was to throw Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) under the bus, and another was to give the feds some information on her ex-hubby Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She declined to do both; Carly’s a lot of things but she is loyal to those she holds close in her world.
With that being said, if Carly gets a good dose of reality, and what could happen if she is found guilty, she may change her tune.
GH Spoilers: Carly Has A Young Daughter To Think About
Could Carly face prison if she’s found guilty? It’s hard to say. It seems a little drastic; however, this is the land of soaps, where anything is possible.
Ms. Spencer’s older kids are pretty much settled and don’t need her on a daily basis, although they do tend to lean on her for many things. Still, Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) is fairly young and needs her mother. If Carly went to jail, Donna would be at Sonny’s full-time, and that may worry Ms. Spencer. Not so much that her daughter would be overly influenced by her mob boss ex-hubby, but that Nina Reeves (Cythnia Watros) may be tempted to take on that mother figure role in Donna’s life. The last thing Carly would want to do is have Drew take the blame for the SEC scandal; however, she’s also fiercely protective of her children. Especially where Nina is concerned.
Regardless, as the SEC storyline continues, it’s bound to have a negative effect on the Darly relationship. The stress, the “what if” they had done something differently, and so much more, may force this couple to break up. They are lovey-dovey now, but how long before they are at each other’s throats?
