General Hospital Spoilers: Will Dex Heed Michael’s Order to Stay Away From Joss?

Sure, Dex looks a little bit more preoccupied with his work than Joss is with life at PCU, but it’s starting to appear like he is also delighted any time the dumpster-diving damsel in distress shows up. How will Dex react to Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) insistence that he steer clear of Joss?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Big Brother Act is Getting Stale

Michael is only looking out for his little sister, right? Perhaps, but he’s also got skin in this game. When Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had Dex locked in the freezer at Pozzulo’s, Michael and Joss were both desperate to locate him and make sure he was alright.

Certainly, Michael didn’t want Dex’s blood on his hands — or his conscience, but Joss’ interest was more pure and personal, and Michael could sense that. When they did discover Dex in the freezer and got him out, Michael was quick to call off his entire plan to let Dex help him take Sonny down. It was Dex who convinced him to stay the course, but only under one condition: Dex needs to stay away from Joss. He agreed, but it’s not looking like he’s going to go out of his way to hold true to his word.

General Hospital Updates – Josslyn Jacks Won’t Stand for It

Joss has grown suspicious of Dex and his interactions with Michael. It’s not even clear that Joss would necessarily be against a plan to take Sonny down, but Michael absolutely wouldn’t want her involved in something so dangerous. Too late! Joss is putting the pieces together currently, and it’s not going to be long before she figures out what’s really going on.

Joss might take it personally at first when Dex gives her the brush-off in an attempt to stay on good terms with his real employer — Michael. But she can tell her interest in Dex is reciprocated, and she’s not keen on denying her feelings, even if she’s unavailable and in a relationship with Cameron Webber (William Lipton).

But now Dex has made a comment or two that has Joss’ wheels spinning. She’s overanalyzing every word – as most women do with a new love interest – and it’s not adding up why Michael was interested in Dex’s wellbeing, nor why he cares how Sonny runs his business when he wants nothing to do with him.

Dex Heller Has His Own Agenda

Underneath both Michael’s and Joss’ intentions lie Dex’s real agenda — which hasn’t been given much attention yet. He’s noticeably interested in Joss, but also wants to keep his job. That being said, the lengths he went to when convincing Michael not to give up on their plan made things feel more personal than professional for Dex, and we have to wonder why.
