General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, February 19-Friday, February 23 tease unlikely recruits, desperate searches and temper tantrums! Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has a proposition for an unlikely recruit, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is desperate to search and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has a temper tantrum!
General Hospital Spoilers: Unlikely Recruits
Anna’s at the Metro Court when she spies Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) sitting at the bar-she approaches him in an unlikely recruiting effort. She proposes to him an opportunity to save lives, and he looks up with some interest. She wants him to be a mole inside Pentonville but to use his prison church services to do it, finding out from his followers who leaked information on the prison transport.
Someone from the inside had to have known about the prison transport and Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) being transferred out. That person then gave specific details to the killers who stopped the transport with stop sticks and murdered her execution-style; that mole can lead Anna to the killers.
GH Spoilers: Desperate Searches
In the meantime, Josslyn is desperate to find Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) listens as she asks her to help her find him. The only clue she has is the goodbye letter and his dog tags given her by Sonny as he waited in Dex’s apartment.
Sonny had offered Dex a new identity but he didn’t want to leave Josslyn and told Sonny he’d rather die. The big question is, did Dex cave or did Sonny have him disposed of anyway?
General Hospital Spoilers: Ignore, Ignore, Ignore!
Elsewhere, Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) get into it over Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Carly asks Drew, why can’t he just ignore Nina? It’s like he has a death wish-for Nina, that is-and is obsessed with revenge. The anger in Drew is building up to the point he’s turning into someone Carly doesn’t recognize anymore, and neither does his other family and close friends.
He’s become domineering and extremely controlling, and taking it too far. He’s scapegoating Nina worse than Carly ever did.
GH Spoilers: Her Turn To Be Served
Elsewhere, Nina is at the Metro Court restaurant working when Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) approaches her with a summons. Nina looks askance as Diane tells her she’s been served. It’s too early for divorce papers from Sonny, they haven’t even been separated a year, only three or four months. Is this business, or is it personal?
General Hospital Spoilers: Temper Tantrum
Elsewhere, Sonny is furious and having a temper tantrum with barware again, throwing glassware and breaking it. The frustration is building up in him much too easily, like perhaps he’s gone off his bipolar meds again.
Sonny is spiraling without a doubt and pushing everyone away, including his son Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) who perhaps tries to be the voice of reason.
If Nina saw Sonny’s violent side as he’s displaying it with this temper tantrum she may well decide she’s better off without him! This definitely isn’t gentle Mike the bartender in Nixon Falls!
