General Hospital Spoilers: Trina Gains a Father — and Portia Loses Her Husband
General Hospital spoilers reveal Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) life has been full of twists and turns, but the possibility of being a father has always been lingering in the back of his mind. Despite not feeling completely ready for stealing Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) away from Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews), he’s about to find out that his future has already begun. Learning that his stepdaughter, Trina, may actually be his biological child filled Curtis with conflicting emotions. Finding out Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) always knew and was lying to him had forced him to deliberate over whether he even wants this marriage.
Maybe he wants to take some time to go clean up the unfinished business he has with his ex-wife, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), instead. Curtis may seem all over the map, but one thing remains constant: his love and care for Trina. When the DNA test confirms his paternity, he will undoubtedly make a serious commitment to his new role as a father, but it remains unclear whether he will feel anything similar for Portia.

However, it’s a devastating realization for Marcus, as the man Trina grew up calling Daddy. Will she really use a life-altering experience in her daughter’s life and leverage it to her own advantage? This is Portia; of course she will. While she’s doing that, Curtis and Trina will find new ways to bond and commonalities they never noticed before.

Curtis is about to make a pretty serious decision. It’s time to let go of Portia and move on. It’s been months since they exchanged vows, and there has been no sign of reconciliation. The reveal of Trina’s true paternity — while a satisfying end to their tumultuous relationship — is not enough for Curtis to see himself having a future with the mother of his child. Could this have something to do with the other person occupying all of Curtis’ thoughts as of late though?

It’s going to be painful for Portia to realize Curtis is more interested in ending fences with his ex than he is with his wife. Their marriage never stood a chance, and while she only has herself to blame for creating the rift that allowed Jordan into Curtis’ heart, and can’t help but feel like he betrayed her, too. Had Portia known the time she was giving Curtis to figure out his feelings was being spent thinking about how he feels about someone else, she would have stopped trying long ago. She would’ve had divorce papers drafted herself. Is this the beginning of a nasty feud between these three — who’ve been dancing around their love triangle since Portia first came back to town?
