General Hospital Spoilers: Taggart May Know Curtis is Trina’s Dad, Begs Jordan Not to Tell
General Hospital spoilers tease that the secret surrounding Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) paternity is about to get a whole lot more interesting. What was once a secret assumed to be kept by one woman — Trina’s mother, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) — has now become a secret too many people know about to continue keeping it under wraps. Who will be the one to tell Trina her dad isn’t her dad?
Curtis and Portia, Part I
Back in the day, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia fell in love, but their love affair was cut short when Curtis found out it was, quite literally, an affair. Curtis is a man of honor. He doesn’t like to break the rules; that lifestyle only ever got him in trouble. So when Curtis found out Portia was married to Marcus Taggart (Réal Andrews), he quickly ended his relationship with the good doctor.
Part II Picks Up Years Later
After all these years, and both Curtis and Portia going through divorces, the pair is back at it. Recently engaged, their plans have been put on pause while Curtis continues to fine-tune his marital status with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
Grandpa Had a Secret of His Own
When Curtis was young, his father — Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) — abandoned him, his brother, and his mom. It wasn’t until recently that Marshall came clean with Curtis about why he left. He had been diagnosed with Schizophrenia and was afraid of the implications of his illness becoming harmful to his family. But the realization that Marshall has a severe mental health disorder that can be passed on to his children and grandchildren is something Portia wasn’t prepared to hear, knowing Trina is actually Marshall’s granddaughter.
Jordan’s Hearing is Impeccable
Commissioner Jordan Ashford is always in the right place at the right time, picking up the scoop wherever she can get it. So of course she was right on time to overhear Portia making arrangements to consult with genetic specialists who could advise her on this issue — and hopefully without her ever having to tell Trina about it.
GH Spoilers Says It’ll All Come Out in the Wash
Jordan has confronted Portia about her secret, which she’s more or less admitted to carrying and insisted she will never reveal. Will Portia be able to keep Jordan quiet? She may not be able to, but someone else might. While Portia played along during her argument with Jordan implying it would break Taggart’s heart to know Trina wasn’t his daughter, it’s possible he already knows and agreed to keep the secret from Trina forever when Portia first discovered she was pregnant. Will he beg Jordan to forget she ever knew?

Jordon needs to mind her own business and quit sneaking around eavesdropping. She would like to bust up Portia and Curtis. Curtis could never trust Jordon again anyway. She’s nothing but a liar.
I’m still having a hard time believing that Marshall deserted his family because of his Schizophrenia diagnosis. It makes no sense and I’ve always felt there was much more to it.
Sick of Jordan’s interfering in the Trina paternity. Very unprofessional and not a good look for someone in her position.
Nina is just as bad!! How dare she go after Willow the way she did simply because she saw TJ and Willow hugging. But what do you expect from a person who has done exactly what SHE is accusing Willow of.
My hope is that this will blow up in her face big time on a couple of levels…..that when she decides to tattle to Sonny that he will see her for what she is and secondly when it comes out that she is Willows mother that Willow turns on her even more and then reminds her of all the horrible treatment she has received from her!!
A home wrecker like Nina is always quick to assume the same of everybody else simply because that is how they themself behave!!!
