General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Sonya Eddy Joins Cast Of New Netflix Film
General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Sonya Eddy, who plays the role of Epiphany Johnson on the soap, joins the cast of a new Netflix film. The movie titled Good on Paper is scheduled to air this summer.
Johnson will portray Judge Harriet Gold in the movie that’s directed by Kimmy Gatewood and penned by Iliza Shlesinger. Shlesinger takes on the lead role as Andrea Singer. She penned the film based on true events that happened to her around 2015. The actress said that writing about it was “extremely cathartic.”
Andrea has always prioritized her career over her love until she met Dennis Kelly (Ryan Hansen). He seems to be the perfect guy but Andrea’s best friend Margot (Margaret Cho) thinks he’s hiding something. The latter convinces Andrea to do some digging first to know who Dennis really is.
Shlesinger said they wanted the film to be authentic as can be seen during Andrea and Margot’s interactions. Their conversations are not candy-coated but blunt.
General Hospital Updates – Week Of June 28
In upcoming scenes set to air on June 28, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) need to prove that they are strong and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) will show up to help them with it.
Elsewhere, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be torn between reality and fantasy because of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She wants to be in Nixon Falls but she also knows that she needs to be in Port Charles.
As for Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), she’ll need a distraction from her stalker problem so she’ll be keen to listen to Nina’s problems. She may tell Nina to grab onto happiness if she realizes that Nina has a new man in her life.
Meanwhile, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will try to find ways on how she could break her baby news to Nina. The two may have a messy history but Nina will surely be happy for her once she knows that Sasha is pregnant.
Back to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are eager to help Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) get her baby back. Austin (Roger Howarth) wants to help them too so he’ll offer his service on Monday’s episode. Anna will admit to Valentine that she’s getting a weird vibe from Austin. So fans have to wait and see what drama he’ll bring to Port Charles.
