General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Needs Olivia’s Help — and Nina Won’t Like it
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is always looking out for his family, and that extends beyond any breach in their relationships. For example, just because his son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), isn’t talking to him, doesn’t mean Sonny isn’t going to have Michael’s back and support him and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) through this journey fighting cancer. Further, Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) may hate Sonny, but he still provided her with security coverage when The Hook was on the loose.
In addition, he wanted extra eyes on all of his children’s mothers, including Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), and most certainly Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Now, Carly is in trouble, and Sonny is going to be there — whether she asks for his help or not, but he will need someone else’s.
General Hospital Spoilers — Ned is Nosing Around
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has been biding his time and wielding threats ever since Michael and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) attempted to merge Aurora Media with ELQ without giving Ned’s opinion on it any real consideration. The move would have iced Ned out of the family company at the level he’s at now.
A last-ditch effort to bring Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) over to his side left Ned on the winning team, and it left Carly in a serious lurch. She lost her half of the Metro Court Hotel after she invested her wealth in the merger expecting it to be a sure thing. Oops! Now Ned wants to retaliate by reporting Drew and Carly to the SEC, and Sonny can’t have that.
GH Spoilers Hint Drew Wants to Get Married
When Ned makes it clear to Drew that his time is almost up to rectify the mess he’s made — which may be impossible with Ned’s bitter feelings taking up all the air in the room — he might panic and tell Carly he thinks they only have one option: getting married! That’s right.
If Carly and Drew get married, they cannot be compelled to testify against one another, and that means no one else could prove the investment Carly made was due to him telling her about the merger. Of course, that doesn’t mean the target might not shift to Michael — the other likely party who could have theoretically told Carly what was about to go down with the almost-merger.
General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Meddles, and Nina is Unnerved
Sonny is worried about the SEC eyeing Carly and Michael, but he’s far more concerned about Carly and Drew being coupled up. Knowing they were dating was bad enough, but it was comforting that he didn’t have to face it because they were being so discrete. He can’t stomach the idea of Carly marrying anyone else, and he’s going to ask his old flame, Olivia, to intervene with her hubby, Ned, and make sure this SEC report is dead in the water.
This will have massive ramifications for Sonny, even if it pans out well for Carly, Drew, and Michael. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is not going to take well to Sonny stepping in to make sure Carly and Drew don’t tie the knot.
