General Hospital Spoilers: Schizophrenia Takes Hold: Is Trina The Hook?
General Hospital Spoilers tease the person behind The Hook is going to rock the residents of Port Charles. As Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) makes her way back to town to keep the investigation on track, suspects are piling up. No one could have possibly predicted the person behind the attacks would be the meek and mild-mannered Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Wrong Place, Wrong Time?
So far, it seems like the three targets The Hook has taken aim at have been people who are close to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), but that isn’t all these three people have in common. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) may be Sonny’s attorney, but she was also Trina’s.
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) might have been at the wrong place at the wrong time when Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was actually the intended target. She and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) may seem like unlikely targets given how close Trina is to both of them, but if Trina is suffering from Schizophrenia, it wouldn’t be outside the realm of normalcy for someone with the disorder to attack their own loved ones. Afterward, the attacker often doesn’t remember what happened.
General Hospital Spoilers — Trina’s Break with Reality
Growing up is hard. Getting through the teenage years is difficult even for the most well-adjusted child, which is just what Trina was before the world came crashing down around her. In the last couple of years, Trina has endured the loss of her father, whose death ended up being staged as part of a sting operation. Still, the loss she felt was very real as Trina wasn’t clued in on the trap and believed all of it. She’s also fallen for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) only to have him seemingly not return her feelings, and now that he does, he’s off to jail.
If that wasn’t enough, she’s been traumatized by Spencer when he wrecked Ava’s gallery, and she endured one of the hardest trials of her life — pun intended — when she was nearly convicted of producing and distributing Joss and Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) sex tape. Can anyone blame Trina if this is what finally pushes her over the edge?

Will this just be a typical nervous breakdown due to the enormous amount of stress Trina has been under? Might she actually be suffering from a psychotic break brought on by Schizophrenia?
