General Hospital Spoilers: Sasha’s Plan to Leave the Past in Port Charles Won’t Be Easy

General Hospital spoilers spill Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) has been saved by Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) ingenuity and will be able to move on with her life.

It’s not likely that Sasha will have to pay any consequence for stabbing Cody, because she was drugged without her knowledge at the time. Besides, we know Cody wouldn’t cooperate with the state or give testimony that was going to put Sasha in jail — even if he had to lie under oath.

Cody may think the worst is behind Sasha, but she’s got quite a road ahead figuring out what comes next for her. She may not have much of a fortune left, and her involvement with Deception is going to take a bigger hit than it has in the last two years as she’s been trying to bounce back from losing her family. How will she find a way forward without much to build from?

Even though Sasha is free now, she’s got a long road ahead of her. Besides, the numerous assaults to her character would take a miracle of PR persuasion to clean up. Sasha likely knows that, but she probably hasn’t had much time to lend serious thought to it.

Maxie will try to convey their side of the story with much apprehension, expecting Sasha to be rather torn up over the matter. Some fans are suspecting Sasha might also walk away from the business, too, though. In fact, she may have to just to pad her bank account for this fresh start she’s mapping out.

A move to Austin, Texas may seem out of the ordinary for a girl like Sasha, but she’s looking for a blank canvas that is as far removed from Port Charles and life similar to it that she can grab ahold of.

Tired of the endless barrage of painful memories and messy mistakes, all the girl wants is a new lease on life. Will that only come with letting go of everything and everyone in Port Chuck — including cutting ties with Deception?

Sasha has no fortune, thanks to Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). She has no family, yet she’s ready to abandon her friends and career in hope of a clean slate.
