General Hospital’s (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Co-Head writers Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor dish on what is happening in Port Charles in the new year. What can you expect for your favorites?
Nina’s Trial
General Hospital Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) trial will have a great impact on Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) marriage. What shockwaves will the trial send through Port Charles? Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) relationship will be affected by the trial as well. Can Michael and Willow survive, especially when she takes a trip abroad? Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will be thrilled that they scored one against Sonny. However, there could be a high price to pay.
Continued Threats
General Hospital’s Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Valentin Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will continue to be a threat as Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) continue to grow closer. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will need to stay on guard in case Peter wakes up from his coma. However, Maxie could hope that someone will kill Peter off first. Unfortunately, it seems that Maxie’s secret could end up being revealed anyway.
Relationship Woes
General Hospital’s Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) attention will be on his father’s family as he tries to keep the peace. However, Dante’s absence will cause Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) attention to be drawn elsewhere. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will be drawn to an old flame. Liz Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) could be drawn to past relationships as well. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will be drawn closer as their charade continues, will Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) figure out the truth? Austin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) need for revenge could cause harm to Maxie’s baby. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) relationship could be ruined.
Other Upheavals
General Hospital’s Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) may be her own worst enemy. Victor grows closer to his family while still wanting Liesl. Esme Price (Avery Kristen Pohl) plots to destroy Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) friends. Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) will continue to consider his options. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) could place herself on the bad side of the mob. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) fight to stay together.
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) is there for her daughter. T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellows) and Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos) help friends in need. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) come together for their son. Valentin offers Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) advice. The Scorpios come together for a family member.
