General Hospital spoilers report Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) is holding out on telling the truth about Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) whereabouts, but that doesn’t mean he’s entirely heartless.
He wants Ava back just as bad as everyone else will, but he knows he can’t make demands of Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) or Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
General Hospital Spoilers Highlights
But rumor has it Cyrus will soon let Mason know he’s done with Ava and wants her “dealt with.” Little does he know, Mason intends to like his own pockets by turning her over to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) instead of axing her altogether.
It’s a win-win for Mason, but it’s going to leave Austin feeling like his hands are tied. Will Austin come clean in time to spare Ava of her ex-husband’s wrath?
General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Isn’t Going Home
Ava may have thought this kidnapping was just a short-term hostage situation that would be resolved as soon as Mason’s boss man gets whatever he wants.
But little does she know, Mason is working for two bosses — and they know nothing about each other either. So when Cyrus’ orders are fulfilled, she will expect to be released.
It’s going to leave Austin just as perplexed when she isn’t, and that’s when he may catch on to Mason’s two-timing scheme and realize Nikolas is also involved. Ava isn’t going back to Port Charles. Her next destination will be wherever Nik plants her.
GH Spoilers Leak Austin Is Guilty
It’s not as easy for Austin as simply telling the police about Nikolas and his whereabouts for the last several months. If he relays any of that information, he’ll also be admitting his own guilt in helping Nikolas — and he may have to admit to him being injured as well.
Moreover, the police would have immediate questions about Austin doing Nikolas any special favors when he’s clearly so close with Nik’s ex-wife.
General Hospital Spoilers — He’s Also A Coward
There is no way Austin can turn Nikolas in without revealing that he was complicit in this whole mess. It would also mean having to divulge that Ava attacked and nearly killed Nikolas — and that he was aiding and abetting a fugitive from justice.
In the interest of keeping his own reputation intact, Austin is going to stay silent and try to rescue Ava on his own rather than going to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or the authorities. Big mistake?
