General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Opens Up to Ava About Her Concern for Curtis
General Hospital spoilers tease Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) feels for her friend, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Curtis has just found out that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) may be his daughter — and that his wife, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), has been lying to him about it for the entirety of their knowing one another.
Curtis didn’t think it could get any worse than the lies his ex-wife, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), fed him, but as it turns out, it can. Now, he isn’t sure about what kind of future he has at all with Portia, and he’s going to start leaning on Nina quite a bit for reassurance that it’ll all be okay since she knows how he feels, as well as how Portia might feel. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will encourage Nina to be there for her friend, but will their commiserating lead them both to something more dangerous?
General Hospital Spoilers — Curtis is Unraveling at the Seams
Curtis is considering throwing in the towel on his sobriety and jumping back into a world of addiction that nearly claimed his life in the past. No one — not his aunt, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), Jordan, Portia, or Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) — could have seen this coming. Last time Curtis went through a divorce, he wasn’t nearly this bad. Sure, his heart was broken and he was disappointed that his marriage to his then-best friend didn’t work out. But he wasn’t trying to drown himself in the bottom of a bottle of booze. Now, he’s struggling to stay away from that temptation.
GH Spoilers Hint Ava Pushes Nina to Be There for Curtis
When Nina tells Ava how bad things are with Curtis, she’s going to have a bit of a different perspective. She knows what Trina is going through on the receiving end of this, and she is aware that Trina just might consider getting that paternity test soon that would reveal whether or not Curtis is her biological father.
She isn’t in a position to share that information with Nina just yet, but she senses it would give Curtis a sense of stability to know if Trina is her daughter. She is going to encourage Nina to support Curtis right now until things level out while encouraging Trina not to drag her feet if she is ultimately going to get that test anyway.
General Hospital Spoilers — Is There More to This Than Friendship?
When Nina focuses so much of her energy on something, she often tends to become rather obsessed with whatever she is fixated on. This time around, that thing may be Curtis. Perhaps it’ll give her a sense of control to help keep him on the sobriety track when she’s struggling so much in her own life with the lack of control she has over saving her daughter’s life.
Curtis’ struggles could be a welcomed distraction from grief for Nina, but as trouble hits the home front and attacks her relationship with Sonny, it could leave Nina looking for respite in Curtis’ unstable arms. Are these friends headed for something more than friendship? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to find out.
