General Hospital Spoilers: Molly Isn’t Just Unable to Get Pregnant — She Can’t Donate Her Eggs Either
General Hospital spoilers reveal Molly Lansing Davis (Mia Holiday Kriegel) has just received the news that not only can she cross off ever carrying her own child from her bucket list, but she’ll also never have a biological child of her own. Sure, adoption and egg donation are options, but Molly isn’t ready to explore any of those yet. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) is trying to be patient with his domestic partner, recognizing that this is a far more painful experience for her than it is for him. But he can’t shake how eager he is to become a father, even though he doesn’t blame Molly for any of this. Still, Molly said she needed to take a time out from all of this and TJ is just hoping it won’t be too long.
General Hospital Spoilers — Molly Needs a Time-Out
Molly is trying to process the most devastating news she has ever received. She’s known for years that she struggled with menstrual disturbances, but she wasn’t expecting a diagnosis of endometriosis that was so severe that it would impact her ability to become a mother.
She just assumed she would have kids when she was ready for them, just like her mother did, and just like her big sister, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) did. Now that things aren’t working out that way from her, she doesn’t know how to process this pain, other than throwing herself back into her work and pretending it didn’t happen. That’s not going to sit well with TJ, though.
GH Spoilers Hint Surrogacy is on Pause
TJ told Molly she can take all the time she needs, but deep inside he’s hoping she’ll be ready to talk about it again soon. Recently, TJ opened up to Alexis Davis (Nancy lee Grahn) about how excited he was, but also fearful for the outcome that they ended up experiencing at the doctor’s office. He relayed how it felt so unfair that he and Molly were warned for years to practice safe sex, knowing they didn’t want a child before they were ready for one.
Ironically, now they’re ready for one, and they’re not able to have a child of their own. He thought this would be easy. The hardest part might not even be the fact that Molly cannot conceive — or have a child with her own eggs — but rather that she’s not even willing to discuss the alternatives to those options. TJ is ready for egg donation, surrogacy, or even adoption. How long will he wait for Molly to meet him halfway?

While TJ is indulging Molly’s need for time and space, it’ll appear that she is trucking right along at work and enjoying the successes that come with it. As more time passes and TJ starts to feel like Molly has forgotten about their pregnancy plans, TJ may try to broach the subject. But he’s going to be met with dismissive remarks from Molly – who claims she still isn’t ready. As TJ‘s feelings start to take over, and he desires to be a father even more, he may go looking for other places to make it happen. It looks like this apple may not have fallen far from his tree.
