General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Put On The Spot, Austin Looking For Romance
General Hospital Spoilers tease that their recent kiss was a pleasant surprise for both Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) although it’s been building to that for quite awhile now. From the moment that Austin showed up in the middle of the woods to deliver Maxie’s baby, he’s been kind of an unlikely hero to Maxie. But Maxie has had to keep Austin at arm’s length so he won’t remember that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was also in the woods that night.
General Hospital Spoilers – Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt is actually a Quartermaine!
The Quartermaine family was shocked when Austin revealed he was the son of Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond) making his a Quartermaine by blood. But since Jimmy Lee was illegitimate, he wasn’t welcomed into the family and kept out of Edward Quartermaine’s (John Ingle) will because of that. But Austin indicated that Edward had contacted Jimmy Lee and wanted to put him back in his will.
General Hospital Spoilers – Edward Quartermaine never added Jimmy Lee Holt back in will!
Unfortunately, Edward died before he could make any changes to his will.so there didn’t seem to be any proof to support his claims. But Austin believed Edward had left notes in his study that would prove his claim. So Austin used Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) tp get in places that he couldn’t at the Quartermain mansion. Chase was angry at Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Austin used that anger to manipulate Chase.
General Hospital Spoilers – Brook Lynn Quartermaine forced Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt to choose between his career as a doctor and his lawsuit.
Then Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) found leverage to force Austin to make a choice: Keep his medical license or drop the lawsuit. Austin reluctantly dropped the lawsuit but This has led to an ongoing bitterness between Brook Lynn and Austin. Austin’s anger toward Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) has led him to teaming up with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) which led to Victor figuring about the baby switch and revealing to Peter August (Wes Ramsey) where his baby is which is Maxie’s greatest fear.
