General Hospital Spoilers: Marty Isn’t Done with Lucy, But When Will He Come Back?
General Hospital Spoilers reveal Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) simply cannot be gone for good. When he stormed out of Port Charles — and out of Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) life — earlier this year, we assumed his hiatus would be short-lived.
But here we are still wondering when he’s coming back, as Lucy begins to move on with her life without him. Rumor has it Marty will return soon enough — and with a guilty conscience.
This is more than him feeling bad for dumping Lucy based on suspicions he let Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) plant in his head. Lucy more than proved his worries right when she jumped right into the sack with Scott Baldwin (Kim Shriner) the second Marty ended things with her.
He may have had time to cool off from that experience, but there is still a storyline waiting in the wings with Marty’s ex-wife, Blair Kramer (Kassie DePaiva).
Eventually, Lucy will learn that Marty’s design idea for the Deceptor was never his own, and he unintentionally set her up to take the fall for intellectual property theft from the start.
Will this betrayal level the playing field and make them even — or might it level the relationship they once had altogether?
General Hospital Spoilers — Lucy Makes the Most of Deception
The stress of steering the ship at a failed company she no longer owns the majority stake in is eating Lucy alive. Deception was her baby — revived once and made into something fabulous, only to be taken away by the likes of Tracy.
Now, Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) have both quit without notice, and Lucy will be left scrambling to make lemons into lemonade — with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) glaring at her from the side of their eyes the whole time.
Lucky for Lucy, a new storyline is rumored to be coming into play that may spare her some of the egg on her face.
GH Spoilers Hint Blair Returns to Town
We know Marty and Lucy’s storyline can’t be over because it was wrapped up rather incomplete. Marty’s vicious ex-wife, Blair, is still out for blood.
Busy back in Llanview, it’s only a matter of time before her collusion with Tracy comes to light. Of course, Marty already knows about that.
He knows the Deceptor was a stolen idea. He knows Tracy figured that out and used it against him by plotting with Blair. Somehow, they left Lucy in the dark — and Marty was happy about that while they were still together.
Now, he might be kicking himself knowing he was just as much of a liar and traitor as he’s blaming Lucy for being.
General Hospital Spoilers — The Truth Comes Out, and Marty Comes Home
When the truth comes out about how Tracy really got the proprietary information on the Deceptor, war will wage. Brook Lynn will be furious that her grandmother set her up just to give herself cover for working with Blair.
Lucy will be furious that Marty lied to her all along and knew what was happening to her precious company. And Marty, he’ll be racked with guilt and deserving of it.
