General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY Laura Collins (Genie Francis) trusted someone with vital information, and that someone used the information in unfathomable ways! Laura had no sooner finished her visit with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) when Carly took the information about the location of Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) mother and her the elderly woman taken in order to gain leverage on Cyrus.
General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Has Taken Matters Into Her Own Hands!
When Cyrus wanted to meet with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) alone, Carly was tipped off that Cyrus was going to have a sniper pick Jason off. But Jason had already figured out the plot and had taken out the sniper before the meeting. This led to a gun match between Cyrus and Jason who were at a stalemate until Brando Corbin (Johnny Waycor) aimed his weapon at Jason. But then Carly arrived with her own gunmen, and Cyrus was defeated for the time being. But Jason knew that this would only lead Cyrus to try again. But Carly had a plan.
General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins Unwittingly Gave Carly Corinthos A Way To Neutralize Cyrus.
Earlier, during Laura’s visit with Carly, Laura not only told Carly that Cyrus was her half-brother, but also where Cyrus’ mother was located. Finally happy to have information on Cyrus that could be used, Carly made the decision to take Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) and hide her away. This is certainly not what Laura wanted. She’s been trying to appeal to Cyrus’ family side in order to get him to leave Port Charles. In addition, there is no way Laura would ever condone the kidnapping of an elderly woman.
General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins Will Feel Betrayed!
Laura told Carly about Cyrus and Florence in good faith. For Carly to take that information and use it the way she did is a betrayal. This will only escalate the mob war and that is the last thing Laura would ever want. In the end, if Laura can get Florence returned safe and sound, it might help her win Cyrus’ trust and maybe he will finally decide to leave Laura and Port Charles alone. But it won’t be because of anything that Carly did. The escalating war between the Corinthos Clan and Cyrus will certainly claim more victims and part of the blame for that will be Carly’s reckless actions.
