Why Britt Can’t Get Over Jason
Britt has everything from his professional to personal life. But there’s something that she’s still missing, and that’s her one true love. Britt joined Society Setups to try meeting someone special but to no avail. She still feels something from someone from her past, and that’s no other than Jason.
Britt and Jason had a short-lived relationship before marrying Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). They slept together once, and Jason ended it with her. The latter got engaged to Carly so he could help protect the Corinthos family at the time when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was presumed dead.
Britt still has feelings for Jason, and the doctor’s portrayer, Kelly Thiebaud, has an explanation for that. According to the actress, her alter ego’s feelings for Jason started when he helped her get “through that terrible time,” which was when she got diagnosed with Huntington’s disease. Their relationship may have been short-lived, but it had a significant impact on Britt’s life, and that’s why it’s hard for her to move on.
“I think with anyone, when you’re going through something so heavy and life-threatening, that whoever’s there by your side, it means so much to you to have them,” Thiebaud said.
“Especially for a character like Britt, who hasn’t really had that, even from family. She hasn’t really had someone be so genuine and so loving and protective and supportive of her,” the actress continued.

Upcoming scenes hint that Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) secrets will soon be exposed, and this could prompt Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) to come clean about her Huntington’s disease.
Fans know that Britt has been through a lot, and now she’s continuing on her downward spiral mainly because of the loneliness she feels. She’s struggling to get over Jason, but Cody may eventually help her move on.
Cody is keeping some secrets. He may eventually come clean about it with Britt down the road since spoilers hint that he’ll be her new love interest in the daytime drama. Whatever it is that he’s trying to hide could be the reason why the two would get closer together.

Britt has been THROUGH a lot??? She has done a lot of awful things and needs to pay. I missed a lot of episodes on GH because I can’t imagine how she got a job again at GH with the crimes she committed.
