General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) comes to the breaking point and finally gives up on Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
After Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) tells her Dex tried to put a hit on a hospitalized Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) on Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) orders, she’s had enough!
General Hospital Spoilers: The Couple Had Been Arguing
The couple had been arguing over Dex feeling compelled to leave town, because of Sonny’s demands, and Joss had been determined to make him stay.
He was packing up boxes in his apartment, and she doesn’t like him giving in to Sonny’s control; she wants him to take control over his own life and their relationship.
Joss has been wanting Dex to be his own person and make his own calls and decisions; she loves Dex and hates Sonny’s control over him.
They are arguing about this when Nina suddenly dropped in and told Josslyn about having seen Dex disguised as an orderly leaving Cyrus’ hospital room a couple months back. After Nina leaves, Josslyn demands answers from Dex as to what Nina was talking about.
GH Spoilers: Dex Heller Was Ordered To Make A Hit
Sonny wound up changing his mind about killing Cyrus, but at the time Dex admits he was carrying out a hit on Cyrus, who was recovering from a heart attack.
It didn’t help that it was Nina who made this revelation to Joss, and she becomes livid at Dex’s explanation; she realizes it wasn’t Dex’s conscience that kept him from proceeding.
She knows he’s killed people before and has done shady things for Sonny, but it was Sonny that stopped the hit, not Dex, and he wasn’t protecting Sonny at the time.
Cyrus was helpless in his hospital bed-not that she cares about Cyrus but the idea of Dex nearly killing a defenseless old man is crossing a line! Dex would have killed the defenseless senior citizen in his sleep with no qualms and she sees him in a totally different light.

Josslyn reels realizing the implications of what she’s just heard, that she didn’t know Dex at all-and doesn’t react well at all. She decides to walk away from him, possibly for good, deciding she can’t have a future with a killer-she tells him she can’t do this anymore, and just leaves. It escalates pretty quickly and devastated, she soon seeks comfort from Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Sonny’s role in the called-off hit is also heavy on Josslyn’s mind, and tells Trina she can’t be with someone who can make a decision to kill someone under those circumstances.
She wants to cut ties with Sonny, his world, and now she sees Dex as part of that world, unable to convince him to not have done what he did.

Joss needed to leave Dex. I think that she will be better off without him. I never did like him. She needs to go back to Cam. He’s better for her.
