General Hospital Spoilers: Joss Misses Dex — But Can Their Love Be Salvaged?

General Hospital spoilers claim Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) is aching to be back in Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) arms, but she just can’t get over the idea of swallowing her pride — or her principles.

Joss has never wanted to be with a man like her former stepfather, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She hated the danger that followed her growing up just because she was attached to him.

She loathed having security teams and bodyguards following her around when she was just trying to be a normal teenager. Moreover, she couldn’t believe how much her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), turned her cheek to.

Joss could never be like that — or so she thinks. But Dex is doing quite a bit to redeem himself, and it’s hard for Joss to ignore that he may be deserving of a second chance.

How can she put the past behind her though when she could easily argue that Dex is only behaving now because there is no incentive for him not to?

General Hospital Spoilers — Joss is at a Crossroads

Joss isn’t just doubting how she feels about her break-up with Dex. She’s doubting her entire future and the plans she has made for it. It was Dex’s injury when he was shot that led to her taking an interest in medicine, but now she’s not so sure she wants the rest of her life attached to a man who may amount to nothing more than a painful memory for her.

At the same time, sticking with medicine is almost a safer way to hang onto Dex without actually having to let him back into her heart. It sounds like Joss is bound to go through a bit of a crisis this summer as she tries to make a decision about what she wants.

GH Spoilers Tease Dex May Be a Changed Man…or Not

Joss longs to believe Dex has changed his ways, but she’s just not sure that a zebra ever changes its stripes. She’s committed to the idea that she cannot be with someone who is a cold-blooded killer.

At the same time, she loathes people like Sonny while loving and respecting people like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). She went to Jason seeking help keeping Dex safe, as though Jason hasn’t done much more damage than Sonny asked of Dex — and for many years.

If Joss can turn her cheek to all that Jason has done, why can’t she do the same for the man she still loves? Perhaps she’s just torn as to whether she can really trust that Dex isn’t going to hurt anyone moving forward because he has changed, and not just because his place of employment has changed. If Sonny hadn’t thrown him to the wolves, would he still be there doing his bidding?

General Hospital Spoilers — Hook-Ups are Just That

Joss and Dex may hook up on the fly, but rumor has it that’s all there will be to it. Dex may hope that their tryst could lead to something more, but Joss won’t be able to forgive what he almost did no matter how hard she tries.

Simultaneously, he’ll become acutely aware of how much she still cares for him, and he won’t believe her denial of her feelings. But he will respect that she needs her space and doesn’t want to backpedal into a relationship with him when she doesn’t feel the same about him as she did before.
