General Hospital Spoilers: Is Britt’s Drunken Kiss The End Of Molly And Cody?
General Hospital spoilers reveal Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) had no idea what she was doing when she planted that liplock on Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) at the Brown Dog Bar.
Of course, it came at just the precise time that Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) was walking in to find her favorite cowboy, with her heart on her sleeve.
Now, we’ll have to live through the tortured silence of Molly being ticked at Cody and not telling him, and Cody misinterpreting Molly’s no-show as giving him the brush-off.
For a couple who’s slow burn was already starting to fizzle out, I’m not sure how much more we can slow this down before it comes to a screeching halt. Was Britt the buzzkill that will snuff out the sparks between Molly and Cody for good?
General Hospital Spoilers — Molly Marches On
Molly couldn’t get out of that bar fast enough when she showed up dressed to the nines and found her beau smooching someone else.
Who could blame her? Now, she ran home to cry into her pillow at her mom’s house and Cody carried on with his evening feeling like he had been stood up.
If it’s left up to Molly, she may never speak to Cody again. She doesn’t need more proof than seeing him lip-to-lip with another woman, and we wouldn’t be surprised if Britt ends up on Molly’s bad side now either.
GH Spoilers Squeal Cody Won’t Make It Easy
So far, I’ve noticed a pattern with these two. Molly tends to jump to conclusions, and Cody tends to be the one to resolve all conflicts.
He rarely seems to make presumptions about Molly, and in this case, it truly does seem like she ghosted him since he doesn’t know she showed up and she never replied to his text.
To be fair, it seemed like she had him hanging there for a good while before she ever did show up that night, too.
Suffice it to say, if this latest hiccup in their hook-up plan is resolved, it’ll probably be because Cody showed up and nudged things along.
General Hospital Spoilers — This Team is Losing Steam
If it seems like it’s always two steps forward and three steps back with these two, that’s because it is. Cody fans might find themselves more interested in him hooking up with a tipsy Britt at this point than chasing after Molly.
She’s a little demanding — not that expecting monogamy is asking too much, but the way she constantly assumes the worst about Cody is growing stale.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t spring back from this faux pas, but if they do, it would be nice to see the more confident Molly return at some point. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
