General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Finds Evidence That Nikolas was Shacked Up at Austin’s Place
General Hospital spoilers reveal Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has been eager to solve the mystery of who killed Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) from the moment he first heard from the Pautauk Police Department that he was dead.
Despite Pautauk not being in his jurisdiction, and despite having just been in the hot seat at work for operating in the same location outside of his jurisdiction, Dante will be tempted to dig into the pile of evidence the Pautauk police collect from Austin’s home there.
When some of that evidence points to one notable former Port Charles resident, will Dante clue the Pautauk PD into what he’s thinking — or might he go rogue and work to solve this case on his own?

Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) spent roughly six months shacked up at Austin’s house in the woods — and no one but his shady cousin, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) knew it.
Letting Ava Jerome (Maura West) believe she had killed her ex-husband, Austin nursed the guy back to health before he skipped out of town and off to Europe to dodge the pending charges stacked against him back in Port Charles.
Harboring a fugitive wouldn’t have looked good on Austin while he was alive, but now that he’s dead, Dante will be wondering what he was doing protecting Ava’s ex when he finds evidence of Nikolas having been at Austin’s place — and for an extended stay.
GH Spoilers Hint Laura Gets Briefed
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was worried sick that something may have happened to her son until a banker in Geneva, Switzerland told her he had personally seen Nikolas.
It wasn’t the face-to-face interaction with him that she wanted, but it served the purpose of letting her know he was okay before she headed back to the states.
Hearing from Dante that Nikolas may have been in Pautauk for an extended period of time — only leaving town recently — is going to leave her perplexed about the story the banker told her, accounting for his whereabouts for longer than he may have even been in Europe.
General Hospital Spoilers — Ava is Still a Suspect
Just because Nikolas and Austin were in cahoots in some fashion, that doesn’t mean Ava is off the hook. Quite the contrary. When Dante learns there is evidence that Austin was hiding Nikolas, he’ll take that to mean he was protecting him from persecution.
Was that a favor for Ava — or was he working against her? Could it be that she found out what he was up to and lost it on him in a fit of rage?
