General Hospital Spoilers: Charlotte Being Triggered By Tarot Cards, To Carry Out Victor’s Business?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) could be triggered by the tarot cards she’s playing with, to carry out unfinished business of Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy).
If she’s playing with them in a card game with Jake Spencer (Hudson West) he could be triggered as well to help her carry out Victor’s unfinished business!
General Hospital Spoilers: Tarot Cards Used To Control
If Charlotte, and possibly Jake as well are being triggered by tarot cards used to control them, it’s certainly not the first time this has happened. Victor was forever trying to get Peter August (Wes Ramsey) to cooperate with him in trying to control Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Finally, Drew was rescued when he and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) figured out how to fake it, letting Peter think Drew was controlled when he wasn’t..unfortunately, Jason paid with his life.
These tarot cards could be the same deck that the cards Peter had used to control Drew came from, and Jason had one when the tunnel under Cassadine Island collapsed. Victor left Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) a set of tarot cards, likely the deck those cards came from when Jason died-Charlotte could easily have found them.
GH Spoilers: Were All The Cards Used To Control?
When Jake was little, and kidnapped on Cassadine Island, Helena Cassadine, (Constance Towers) Peter, and Victor were all there too. Jake was very traumatized as he saw who he thought was his father Jason being tortured hung on a pole, later learning it was actually Uncle Drew.
Even then tarot cards could have been used as a backup plan, although with Drew, they also installed a control chip in the brain-and then there was the memory transfer issues.
Drew still carries Jason’s memories along with some of his in his brain, although he seems to recovering more of his own as well. Jake could have been programmed even that young to respond to certain tarot cards, and Charlotte possibly later when Victor had her last summer.
General Hospital Spoilers: Hypnotic Suggestions Implanted?
There is a good possibility that hypnotic suggestions could have been implanted in both teens, but Victor would have especially wanted to use Charlotte.
That’s because unlike Jake, she has Cassadine blood-might that be why he left her father Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) a middle finger from a statue?
It’s easy to see what he may have been thinking-if Valentin wouldn’t obey him, then his daughter Charlotte would!
But what if Charlotte is using the cards like a card game and hypnotic suggestions implanted by Victor and others are awakened in both? Jake may have responded to a tarot card that awakened his triggers-possibly the Hangman; could they both be carrying out Victor’s wishes without realizing it?
