General Hospital Spoilers: Can Esme Overcome Her Past and Keep Up Appearances as Esme 2.0?
General Hospital spoilers report Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has been doing her best to be a good mom to Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) and not rock the boat with his family.
Being a single mom is hard enough without getting embroiled in a custody battle with the absentee dad’s kin. But it was much easier to play nice with them before she remembered who she was prior to her accident.
Now that her memories have returned, Esme is second-guessing how she feels about everyone, including Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).
She will do her best to heed her mother’s advice and continue to pretend she doesn’t remember a thing. That’s her only shot at staying out of prison. But it’s not going to be as simple as she thought when all of her real feelings start becoming too hard to hide.
General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer Throws Her a Curveball
Eame was curious to show up at the pier and see Spencer hand in hand with someone else. Despite feeling angry at him for things he’s done in the past, she can’t help how she feels for him now either.
When Spencer tells Esme he’s planning to go to Paris with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), it may be just the kick in the pants that Esme needs to get ahold of herself and stop playing it safe.
She can’t let Spencer go to Paris or she will surely lose any shot she had with the guy. But how is she going to keep him stateside while his lady love drifts across the pond without him? It sounds like she’ll have to get rather creative.
GH Spoilers Claim Esme is Falling Hard
Esme just can’t help the way she feels about Spencer, and that’s not going to get any easier as time goes on. In fact, with Trina out of the picture, Esme might have a real shot at getting Spencer into just the right position.
But what she really desires isn’t just to decimate his relationship with Trina; she wants him to come out of it wanting to be with her this time around.
The best way for her to increase the odds of that happening is for Esme to keep putting her best foot forward and pretending the past is in the past.
If she can live that lie, she can drag him along with her, and perhaps he’ll forget how much she did wrong in light of who she appears to be now.
General Hospital Spoilers — Red Flags Abound
Unfortunately for Esme, she won’t be able to pull off this act entirely without sounding a few alarms. When bits and pieces of information start to slip from her lips, Spencer and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) may both start to question just how much of her amnesia has lifted.
Unfortunately for Spencer, he may not realize it until it’s too late. Something tells us he’s going to make some trademark mistakes along the way that could ruin his romance with Trina.
Will he fall for Esme’s seduction act just long enough to bust up his current relationship? No Cassadine gets a happy ending, right? Spencer is bound to end up alone and regretting letting Trina become the one who got away.
