Trina is an extremely honest person, and if she finds out that Ava has been deceiving Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) even if Trina doesn’t like Sonny, she’ll be very upset!
General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Is Still Spencer Cassadine’s Uncle
Even though she doesn’t like Sonny or what he stands for, he’s still Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) uncle, and Spencer loved him.
Other than himself, of course, Sonny had been Spencer’s only link to his late mother, Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis) who’d died giving him birth.
Out of respect to her lost love, if Trina became aware of someone deceiving or setting Sonny up, she would either warn Sonny himself or possibly tell Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Ava hasn’t always been an angel, and Trina is aware of her past-although she’s also willing to give people a chance and she thinks she’s changed.
As far as what Trina’s witnessed, the death of her daughter Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) at the hands of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) broke Ava and changed her.

She refused to talk to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) for nearly a year and wouldn’t forgive her, it’s only fairly recently they’ve made any sort of amends.
Trina is loyal to others as well, no matter who they are, and if it’s someone Spencer loved all the more-note she hold nothing against Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay).
The baby can’t help who his mother was and she helped care for him because he’s Spencer’s little brother.
General Hospital Spoilers: Trina Could Easily Overhear A Phone Call
Trina recently was having a business lunch with Ava when Ava got a call from a drug analysis company about testing on some of Sonny’s meds.
Working in Ava’s art gallery together, she could easily overhear a call with much more duplicitous details-for instance, Ava could actually be working behind the scenes with an enemy of Sonny’s!
What if Trina walks in and hears Ava giving this information on the pills to someone who can be assumed to use it against him?
Trina would likely cut off her personal and possibly even business relationship with Ava, and call Carly-telling Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) wouldn’t do any good. Or, she might get Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) involved, or even Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) since he’s becoming a cop!
