General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Delivers the Truth About Sonny and Carly to Nina When She Needs to Hear it Most
General Hospital spoilers tease Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) is going to have to shoot straight with her bestie, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) soon, and it won’t be a comfortable exchange for her to facilitate.
Nina is about to come apart at the seams as her beau takes sides and picks the wrong one. She just can’t take much more of feeling like she’s playing second fiddle to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Will Ava stir the pot the way she always does and encourage Nina to stick to Carly once and for all?
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly is at Risk
Carly has been laying low in her relationship with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and hoping she would be able to dodge Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) threats about reporting them to the SEC for insider trading. To be fair, they’re guilty, but no one but Ned wants to see Carly and Drew thrown in jail.
However, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) knows Carly’s plight, and he’s been happy with her forced secret relationship status because he doesn’t have to truly face that she’s with another man. When Ned makes it clear he has every intention of acting on his threat, Carly is going to run to Sonny with concern.
GH Spoilers Hint Sonny Protects His Baby Mama
Nevermind that Drew isn’t going to take kindly to Carly thinking she needs protection from Sonny, as though he can’t protect Carly on his own. Let’s be honest; his reach doesn’t extend the same way Sonny’s does. That being said, Sonny always looks out for the mothers of his children. He would do the same favor for Ava or Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). He can’t have his kids’ mom in jail serving time. Still, Nina isn’t going to like the lengths Sonny is willing to go to just to protect Carly.
General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Tells Nina to Get Out of the Kitchen
When Nina confides in Ava about just how much it makes her blood boil to see Sonny side with Carly even when she has done something wrong or illegal, Ava is going to play devil’s advocate and remind Nina of who the man is that she is dating. He’s not “Mike” from Nixon Falls, Pennsylvania. He’s Sonny, a mastermind mobster who thinks skirting the law is appropriate, and he’s invested in making sure his children are well-adjusted.
Keeping their mothers out of trouble is part of that, and Ava loves Sonny for that. How will Nina take it when Ava reminds her this is a problem with Nina, not Sonny, and that if she can’t take the heat, she should get out of Sonny’s kitchen? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
