General Hospital Spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is crumbling under pressure as he tries to sort fact from fiction and discern who the rats are inside his mob organization.
Finding out his son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), set out to put him behind bars by hiring Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to collect incriminating information on him was a devastating blow.
But knowing someone else is still inside his operation and stabbing him in the back is a different battle — and it’s not over. As he continues to isolate himself from his family while proceeding with filing for divorce from his wife, Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros), his current roomie — Ava Jerome (Maura West) — might start to appeal to him in ways she hasn’t in many years.
General Hospital Spoilers — Ava Gets Comfortable
Ava has been a shoulder for Sonny to metaphorically cry on this past week. As he continues to handle every blow thrown in his direction, he’s not slowing down in his pursuit of the truth.
If Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) henchman can lead him to this mysterious man calling himself “Stone,” then he’s eager to get the ball rolling and snuff out the bad apples in his own operation.
But the more the hammer comes down, the more Sonny is going to feel like he doesn’t know who he can trust, so he appreciated it when Ava stepped up to the plate and reminded him she’s willing to get down and dirty to protect him.
GH Spoilers Hint Sonny Grows Lonely
Sonny might be rather preoccupied with the shaky foundation underneath his organization right now, but that doesn’t mean he won’t make time to play. In fact, he’s rather notorious for checking out when the going gets tough.
He’ll send in the big guns to do the hard work while he’s checking out in bed with whomever is keeping his well-distracted. Could the next woman who takes him away from it all really be Ava though, or is that just going too far, given their history?
Sonny hasn’t always picked the wisest companions for himself, but if they make him feel comforted and wanted in the moment, he’s usually down for it.
