General Hospital Spoilers and Promo: Tracy Quartermaine Stages An Accident, Solves Her ‘Alexis’ Problem

General Hospital spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will stage an accident to try and solve the problem of Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) possibly exposing her one night stand with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth)!

Tracy Interrupted A Potential Disaster When She Broke Up Alexis’ Conversation With Olivia Quartermaine

General Hospital viewers will recall that Tracy interrupted a potential disaster when she broke up Alexis’ conversation with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) in Friday’s episode of GH. She was determined to fix the problem and keep her from blurting out the awful truth to Olivia. She offered her a job in Amsterdam working for her and Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and then talked her into letting her drive Alexis back home, using her car keys. Tracy drove her out in the country and parked by the side of the road, and moved a passed-out Alexis to the driver’s seat.

Then Tracy made a call for assistance! She told them her friend was driving drunk, and she needed someone to come out and pull her over right away! She leans into the car, where she has opened the window, and tells an unconscious Alexis that she brought this on herself. Then Tracy looks in the side mirror of the car and messes up her hair, for some odd reason, perhaps to make herself look like she had been running after the car to intercept it. She then makes a big show of trying to see if Alexis was okay, asking her if she could hear her. Lights come on shining at the car, and right in Alexis’ face as Tracy is trying to rouse her, and she starts to wake up.

The PCPD Arrives

Someone from the Port Charles Police Department arrives, and shouts out, asking if anyone is hurt. Tracy is shocked when she sees who answered the call! She says “a detective”? She couldn’t believe Port Charles would waste a detective on a drunk call! It’s Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) who answers the call, and goes straight to check on Alexis, walking right past Tracy and basically ignoring her! He then tells her he was in the neighborhood so he took the call and he came. He goes to Alexis. He knows her, asks her if she’s okay and identifies himself as Detective Chase.

He asks if she can hear him. Tracy is puzzled as she verifies that Chase knows Alexis! Alexis, a little loopy but awake now, asks Chase what he’s doing there. Chase tells her it looks like she drove her car off the road! Now Alexis is puzzled! She tells Chase she didn’t do it. Tracy feigns concern as she tells Alexis it was terrible and tells Chase that she thought Alexis was going to kill herself! Chase looks at her, puzzled, and he and Alexis look at each other. Perhaps Tracy reminds him of someone else he knows who currently is out of town and who had been staying at his place! After all, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is the Quartermaine most like her Grandma Tracy!
