General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that the threat of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) appears to be over for good. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and her baby are both safe and Peter is most certainly dead. But Peter wouldn’t have been able to get his hands on the baby in the first place if Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) hadn’t led Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to the truth. Victor and Peter had a deal, so Victor immediately told Peter that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was raising his and Maxie’s baby as her own. Maxie had given Brook Lynn her baby to raise to keep her safe from Peter!
General Hospital Spoilers – Austin Gatlin-Holt delivered Maxie Jones’ Baby!
Maxie and Austin have been growing closer ever since Austin delivered Maxie’s baby last year. But as much as Austin pined for Maxie, he also had a serious vendetta against Brook Lynn. Brook Lynn made Austin sign his rights away to his share of the Quartermaine fortune and that vendetta is what led Victor, and in turn, Peter to discover the truth. Maxie was furious when she found out, but that was also during the time Peter had taken the baby.
General Hospital Updates – Will Maxie Jones Forgive Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt!
Once mother and daughter are safely together in Port Charles, perhaps Maxie will be in a more forgiving mood. There is an obvious spark between Austin and Maxie, and Austin is certainly hoping for a romance. While Maxie may not be ready for that, she may see it within herself to forgive Austin. She and her baby are finally safe and if Peter hadn’t discovered the baby’s location, Maxie might still be living in fear of Peter. This has been a long road for Maxie, and now she can finally breathe easily. That may not have happened if Peter was still out there, looking for his daughter.
General Hospital Spoilers – Maxie Jones Might Have A Stipulation!
Although she may forgive Austin, it may come with a condition. Austin will have to drop his vendetta against Brook Lynn and try to get along with the Quartermaines. Austin has been trying to get the Quartermaines to recognize his father, Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond) as one of them. Perhaps now they will do just that, even if it means not having a financial stake in the family’s holdings. Perhaps Austin will find himself with a new family if he would just forgive Brook Lynn.

Whats their to forgive? He didn’t do anything intentionally and if they weren’t lying, he could have covered for her and the baby. Whole story so stupid.
This is moronic!!! First there is NO (ZERO) chemistry between Austin and Maxie, there were some sparks flying with Britt though. Second, WHY would the Q’s acknowledge Jimmy Lee NOW? Pointless, basically like all the stories these horrible writers have contrived. They need to view a few seasons of GH of old, when things actually made sense…
