General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Things Change Between Esme And Spence, Post-Haunted Star Adventure
General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will be over the moon when Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) returns home. Having your baby kidnapped is any parent’s worst nightmare, so she’ll likely hug her little one extra tight once he’s back in her arms. With all that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) has been through in the last few weeks since he was kidnapped by his Uncle Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), could he have a change of heart where Esme is concerned?
General Hospital Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Will Back Off On Wanting Custody Of His Brother
GH spoilers hint that Spencer could have a different perspective around his brother’s mom when he returns to the little town. After all, he saw Victor’s need for control and how toxic it was, as one of his uncle’s hostages. Spencer could have an epiphany and realize how influenced he was by Victor, and how ugly he’s acted as of late where Esme and his brother are concerned. He absolutely should be a key part of his baby brother’s life, but is ripping him away from his mom the answer? Spence may see this move as something Victor would do and decide it’s time for a change.
General Hospital Updates – Motherhood Has Changed Esme, Regardless Of Her Amnesia
Spencer worked hard to protect his baby brother from Victor during their hostage situation. He also knew exactly how to take care of him when the baby’s colic acted up. On top of it all, Spence offered himself up as a hostage so that Victor would release little Ace. Someone – looking at you, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) – is sure to tell Esme this. Perhaps the entire ordeal will offer a way for Esme and Spence to mend fences, and work together to create a positive environment for Ace. As the old saying goes, “It takes a village” and Spencer doesn’t need sole custody of Ace to be an active participant in his brother’s life; he just needs to be a constant presence in Ace’s life.
Plus, amnesia or not, motherhood has changed Esme. She’s no longer the self-centered, egotistical brat, and even if she gets her memory back, that likely won’t change her need to be nurturing and loving to Ace.

[…] Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has lit a fire within Spencer to become a better person. However, it’s not going to be all sunshine and rainbows for the young Cassadine Casanova.
