Monday on General Hospital, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) was poised to tell Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) role in keeping Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) from finding out his true identity. Earlier Carly and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) agreed not to tell Sonny they were falling in love as Nina and Sonny were discussing how close they became in Nixon Falls. This tangled web of deception might lead to the end of Carson.

Sonny and Carly have reunited but are keeping secrets from one another. He has not told her that when he believed himself to be Mike he fell in love with Nina and he has no idea that his wife and best friend were about to consummate their brief marriage.
