The plot of Crushed has overtones of Chavez’s front burner storyline on GH, in which a brazen girl has designs on a hunky boy of her dreams. Viewers found out yesterday the real truth behind the Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) and Spencer Cassadine relationship, and it wasn’t pretty.
General Hospital Updates – What Happens Next In Port Charles?
It seems that Esme is really the spawn of evil Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). We already know that she is demented and troubled, so the reveal of her paternity is no shocker. But the lurid relationship between father and daughter cast suspicion on Esme’s oft-repeated love for the young man.
Ryan is clearly her puppet master and his goal is to destroy Ava’s life, via Esme’s machinations. He referenced Spencer and his money, which cast doubt on the real reason Esme is latched onto Spencer like a pesky car boot.

Chavez previously told Soap Opera Digest this about his character and Esme: “Spencer is in a completely new headspace about her after the cabin. He’s like, ‘Okay, my eyes have been opened about who this person is.’”
“But the fact of the matter is, he’s going to prison for 30 days, and Esme is basically going to be his liaison with the outside world. She has that internship at Spring Ridge, so he’s going to be seeing her. There are a number of political and social reasons to keep on good terms with her for the time being. But make no mistake, Spencer has zero blinders on about who she is. He just has to use their relationship in as tactical away as possible.”

Bring the real Jason back or you’re gonna loose a lot of loyal GH followers. I’ve watched GH foe 50 years and Jason is my all time favorite character as well as Sonny & carli. Get rid of Nina.
