General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Maxie Encourages Cody To Keep An Open Mind, Give Mac A Chance

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will encourage Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to keep an open mind and give Mac Scorpio (John J. York) a chance. Cody took Mac’s personal cell phone number from Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and apparently he’s set up a meeting but he’s nervous.

General Hospital Spoilers – Not Her Story To Tell

Cody was on a date at the Metro Court with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) when he became antsy about the herd of Scorpios at a table across the room. Mac, Felicia, and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) were meeting for lunch, although Mac and Robert couldn’t contain themselves from shop talk, specifically the Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) murder. Cody mentioned having a history of him and cops not getting along, and assumed he was a suspect for the hook murders.

Felicia came over after Mac got a text about another victim and they talked some, Cody wanting to know why Mac was so interested in him. She told him it wasn’t her story to tell and gave him Mac’s personal cell phone number.

General Hospital Updates – Maxie Jones Knows Part

Maxie also knows that Mac may be Cody’s birth father, but it’s not her story to tell either although she’s likely tempted to. Cody already knows Mac knew his birth mother, but Felicia had slipped him a hint about Mac having known her very well. It had been a mystery to both Cody and to Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) as to why Dominique Stanton (Shell Danielson) had never mentioned Cody. Mac and Felicia have their theories as to why and Maxie knows part of it – she assures Mac is not interested in him for police purposes. She tells him to keep an open mind when he meets with Mac and asks him questions about his interest.

Maxie Jones Understands Why

If it is anyone who understands why Dominque wouldn’t have told anyone about giving birth to Cody if he was Mac’s, Maxie would. Felicia would as well, given the extremes Maxie went to in order to protect Bailey Louise Jones (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) from Peter August (Wes Ramsey). The only way either Cody or Mac is going to know the truth is for them to talk about it and then get a DNA test between the two of them.

It has made no sense to Mac either, as to why years ago when she came to Port Charles fleeing Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia) she never mentioned a baby. Cody needs to lay aside his police paranoia so he and Mac can at least find out if they’re father and son.
