General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Maurice Benard Serenades Wife Paula
General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates reveals Maurice Benard who plays Sonny Corinthos is more like his alter ego “Mike” in the real world. However, as Maurice serenades his wife Paula while driving in their car, she clearly looks amused by his rendition of “Loving You.”
General Hospital – Loving You
Recently, General Hospital star, Maurice shared an Instagram video of himself singing at the top of his lung to his wife Paula. The exchange took place while the couple was on a drive and Benard is serenading his wife in an obviously loving manner.
However, Paula doesn’t seem to know where to laugh or simply shake her head and let him sing. Benard doesn’t have the best singing voice in the history of crooners. Benard may have played Desi Arnez but his inner Minnie Riperton could use some work. Paula found the exchange to be very humorous which would lead one to believe that he does this kind of thing randomly. Paula seems to enjoy Maurice’s sporadic gesture.
General Hospital – So Not Sonny Corinthos
General Hospital Sonny may need to take a few lessons from Maurice. Sonny and Carly are going through a very rough patch at the moment. Sonny has admitted that he needs to do something about his relationship with his wife, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
Singing to Carly may not be a Sonny move but perhaps it might soften her annoyance with him. After all, Sonny needs to come up with something to smooth things over. Perhaps Sonny should channel Mike to help his situation with Carly. Would Benard’s onscreen wife find his serenade as amusing? Would Carly like Mike as well as she does Sonny?
General Hospital – Sonny Needs Some Help
General Hospital’s Sonny needs some better advice than what he is getting so far. Sonny and Carly’s marriage is in trouble and needs serious help. However, bringing in the lighter side of his personality could make a big difference in his marriage. Maybe Sonny needs to be a bit vulnerable with his long-time partner and repair their relationship. Sonny has always been strong and unwavering. Mike, on the other hand, wears his heart on his sleeve. If Carly knew that side of Sonny, maybe she could understand his feelings toward Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Could Sonny use his time as Mike to save his marriage?
While Maurice is having fun with his wife, Sonny is spiraling out of control. Will Sonny be able to repair his marriage? Will Carly ever forgive Sonny for falling for another woman? Should Maurice bring his lighter side into Sonny’s life?
