General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) is concerned about a friend. Jordan has wanted the best for Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore). Shawn was sent to Pentonville Penitentiary for shooting Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). He was innocent of the crime and wants to find out who was responsible for Hayden getting shot. Shawn is working with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) to uncover the truth.
Their search has led them to Hayden’s mother Naomi Dreyfus (Gigi Bermingham). However, Naomi has been killed. Shawn had hoped that Naomi might know how to get in contact with Hayden. Now Shawn is back to the beginning of his search. Jordan has wanted Shawn to clear his name. However, Jordan may believe that it would best for Shawn to focus on his future instead.

Sam and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) had been partners in PI Firm but Curtis left the firm to open a nightclub. Shawn would be a good partner for Sam to have to bring into her PI Firm. Jordan may believe that Shawn should want to find a good career.
