General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Drew Faces Prison, But Not Carly-Prison Time Forces The Lovers Apart?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) could face prison time, with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) remaining free. Carly did say the SEC appeared to be more interested in Drew than in her, even though it was Carly who bought all the stocks to boost Aurora’s value.

General Hospital Spoilers – Bittersweet Revenge

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is only beginning to understand the consequences of her impulsive whistleblower call to the SEC. Even though Carly had asked Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to actually do the reporting and leave her name out of it, someone could find out the truth. At the time, Nina didn’t know that Drew had left with a rescue team bound for Greenland, to rescue the hostages Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) hand-including Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).

But Nina was in a snit anyway, not knowing if Liesl would ever be able to donate her bone marrow to save Nina’s daughter Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) life. She knew that Willow’s wedding to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) might be the last thing she’d ever do in her life and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was invited and she didn’t.

General Hospital Updatess – Drew Cain Returns To An SEC Squad

Drew, of course, will be furious when he returns home to an SEC squad, likely dropping Liesl off at General Hospital before returning to the Quartermaine mansion. Carly knew this would be coming but didn’t warn him when he called and put Liesl on the phone to let him know they were on their way. At first, both Carly and Drew will suspect Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) of being the whistleblower, and Ned will tear into him verbally and physically. Ned had been the one who brought up the possibility in the first place, which is why Drew and Carly have kept their relationship so secretive. But Drew knows Carly has a small daughter to raise, his and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) daughter Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) has Sam-he might insist Carly’s innocent.

Drew Cain Takes The Hit, Nina Reeves Guilty?

Drew could try to take the hit but in reality, Michael could also be to blame-he’s Carly’s son, if no one can prove Drew and Carly were in a relationship then. What mother wouldn’t want her son’s company’s stocks to soar ahead of a merger-Willow had mentioned that too, but if Drew did prison time it would cause Nina worse guilt. Carly was the one she was really targeting and there was no guarantee at the time that Drew and Liesl would return.

If Drew is the only one punished and Carly, having bought all that stock gets off scot-free, it won’t be what Nina intended. She’ll have ruined a decorated Navy Seal’s reputation and taken away a little girl from her father again over nothing!
