General Hospital Spoilers – A Happy Couple That Needs Some Angst

We thought we were finally getting somewhere last year when TJ (Tajh Bellow) and Molly (Haley Pullos) briefly broke up after being together since high school. Molly had a one-night stand with Brando (Johnny Wactor), but then reconciled with TJ and didn’t tell him. When she finally did confess, he forgave her easily and they kinda got married, meaning they had an official commitment ceremony.

And that was pretty much the last we saw of them for a while until they celebrated their six-month anniversary recently and now they are on top of things with the judge who is keeping her mom, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and his dad, Shawn (Sean Blakemore), in jail. Molly got an internship with Judge Carson and is determined to find out if she plays fair in her decisions. Meanwhile, we now know that TJ has been visiting Shawn in jail for years and wants to finally find a way to get him out of there.

General Hospital Updates – Molly and TJ: Does General Hospital Need An Intelligent Young Couple?

For a soap opera, Molly and TJ are about as together as it gets. She just graduated law school, he just graduated med school and they are ready to start their lives together as young professionals. Perhaps they belong on primetime then because to be young and on a soap, you need to be a hot mess and these two don’t fit the bill.

Then again, there could be something refreshing about these two being on more often. They can have problems and have them together. Just because they’re happy doesn’t mean they can’t have storylines and be interesting, but maybe the stories can be about them rather than their parents. They have ties to the canvas like Curtis (Donnell Turner), Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry), and Sam (Kelly Monaco) — and even Kristina if we ever find out where she is).
