General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) may have overheard Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) discussing the paternity test not far from the Nurses’ Station at General Hospital. Could Cyrus take revenge against Jackie by finding and turning over the DNA results to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison)?

General Hospital Spoilers – Dr. Hamilton Finn Promised He Wouldn’t Pick Up The Paternity Test Results

Even though he may still do so at some point because his curiosity will get the best of him, for the time being Finn did promise Jackie that he wouldn’t pick up the results that day. General Hospital viewers will recall that Finn did a paternity test to find out if Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is his little brother or his son. But Jackie and Finn could have been overheard by Cyrus, standing at the Nurses’ Station and Cyrus is very angry with Jackie. He shook her down for information about his mother and her location, which she declined to give, telling him his mother didn’t want to see him and she had probably been moved from her original location!

She protected Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and didn’t mention him in the article, apparently, or Cyrus would have sought him out and laid into him as well! Things went from bad to worse when he found out that the General Hospital board declined to push his new drug, a pet project, to the FDA, which was in large part a result of Jackie’s article which put Cyrus in a terrible light! Not only was he likely portrayed as a drug lord, but as a criminal who ran over his own father and killed him as a teenager! Cyrus will definitely want some kind of revenge against Jackie, but even if he doesn’t take out a hit on her because it would be too obvious, he might do something that hits her in the heart and destroys her family in the process! He may head to the General Hospital lab.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Might Try To Beat Dr. Hamilton Finn To The Lab

If Cyrus did indeed overhear Jackie and Finn, he knows there is some very controversial information waiting in the General Hospital lab! He could either override – or instruct someone else to – the hospital systems and access the test results himself and print out a copy or he could convince whoever is in the lab that he’s picking up the results for Finn! More than likely he has people all over the hospital that will do his bidding. He will likely find that Finn would find out he has a grown son rather than a little brother, and that is some damning evidence! Cyrus isn’t a rocket scientist, but it doesn’t take one to know that what he has is gold.

He doesn’t need the money so he won’t blackmail Jackie with it, but he doesn’t know that Jackie and Gregory are already in the process of a divorce, so he thinks he’ll get Jackie in trouble with her husband! He will, but it won’t be the cause of their divorce. That has already been in the works! What’s worse, it will cause more trouble between Jackie and Finn because she’ll think Finn lied to her and picked up the results after all and told Gregory when he confronts her in an upcoming General Hospital episode!

Poor Chase will just be stuck in the middle and the likely scenario is that Cyrus picked up the results, making it a he said he said when Finn tries to defend himself! The best outcome is that Greg and Finn will be at each other’s throats but agree to keep the information secret from Chase. Jackie in the meanwhile won’t know what hit her when Greg confronts her first!
