General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Anna Tries To Contact An Old Friend To Help Take Down Peter
General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will try to contact an old friend for help in finding an antidote for Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!
General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane’s First Try At Finding Someone Who Could Help Failed
General Hospital viewers will recall that Anna’s first try at finding someone who could help failed – she had tracked down the chemist who had found an antidote to the poison used on Tiffany Donely (Sharon Wyatt) years ago but the chemist had been dead for years. Truly, in a sense, Anna is grasping at straws here because Peter August (Wes Ramsey) only compared the toxin he used and bragged about developing himself to the one used on the Donelys by his late father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) years ago. Peter never said it was the same toxin.
After Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) used the first vial of antidote Anna finally got from Peter on Chase, she started right away trying to find someone who could get some more in case he stopped cooperating, as did Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Longtime General Hospital viewers will remember that Tiffany was actually poisoned by the Cartel that Faison was a part of, who had begun working in Port Charles, and they poisoned Tiffany in order to blackmail Sean Donely (John Reilly) into giving them information on Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) investigation into the Cartel.
The Cartel’s evil plans, and the cartel itself, eventually fell apart and in the original storyline, Dr. Tony Jones (Brad Maule) was able to cure Tiffany’s illness. However, those old medical records have probably been destroyed by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) when he took over running General Hospital.
General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane Likely Tries To Contact One Of The Donelys
Chances are, the old friend that Anna tries to contact is likely one of the Donelys. A couple of years ago, in 2019, Tiffany was mentioned when Port Charles Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) tried to call to talk to Sean about the Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) case. Tiffany had told her that Sean couldn’t help her because he had been having memory problems, but she had suggested Jordan talk to Mac Scorpio (John J. York). Anna will likely try to call Sean and receive devastating news of his death, and she possibly will not be able to contact Tiffany or their daughter Annie Donely (Caitlin Reilly) either!
Anna would be trying to find out who might have had a copy of the antidote for the toxin that made Tiffany sick, but she will run into a very dead end! In trying to solve one mystery, it being the antidote for the original toxin, hoping that Finn can study it and make an antidote for Chase from it, another mystery will surface! Along with Mac, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) it sounds like not only will they be mourning the death of Sean, they will be looking into the probable disappearance of Annie as well! The search for a cure for Chase might turn into a chase for much more and by many more people!
