General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), in spite of all appearances, will be found to be faking his programming, and Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) plan will ultimately fail in upcoming episodes of General Hospital!
GH Spoilers And Rumors – Drew Cain’s Brain Chip Was Removed By Dr. Patrick Drake
Longtime General Hospital viewers will remember that when “Jake Doe” aka Drew Cain came to Port Charles, Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) found a computer chip in his brain and removed it. This was after he was run over by Ava Jerome (Maura West) and no one knew who he was yet, including himself of course. This computer chip was installed on Cassadine Island in the Crichton-Clark clinic as a control chip when Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) was training him to be her “toy soldier.”
After it was removed, even when “Jake Doe” was thought to be Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he no longer wanted to be Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) enforcer. Therefore, when in a more recent General Hospital episode, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) “reactivated” Drew as a mercenary soldier, using a tarot card, that really didn’t make a lot of sense! The control chip is gone and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) knew it. And Victor revealed he wants Peter killed to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)! He revealed that when he told him he was his birth father.
General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Drew Cain Faked His Programming – Was Shooting At The Musician With The Cassadine Crest Tattoo
General Hospital viewers know that if Victor is only pretending to go along with Peter, then it makes no sense for him to have told him to look for the “key” to unleash Helena’s “toy soldier.” General Hospital viewers also know that the musician with the Cassadine crest tattoo matching Valentin’s was probably who kidnapped Valentin out of his hotel room and brought him to Victor to begin with. Peter’s playing his own mind games and has his own agenda, and Valentin knows it and so does Victor.
Peter may have sent Drew to take out Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and possibly Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) but Navy Seals don’t miss when they shoot. Helena would not have programmed someone as a super soldier who couldn’t hit the target, after all! Drew wouldn’t know if the musician was friend or foe because he doesn’t know that Victor is playing along with Peter, or so he claims. General Hospital viewers know it makes more sense that Drew was aiming for Valentin’s kidnapper!
General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Victor Cassadine May Or May Not Be Telling The Truth
General Hospital viewers know that Victor may or may not be telling the truth about Peter, and that he’s only playing along with him. Valentin wisely is withholding judgment on whether Victor is his birth father or not, although it certainly sounds like he’s been keeping tabs on him all his life. As for the musician with the matching tattoo, he could be another secret son of either Victor or Valentin, that Valentin knows nothing about.
But as for Drew, playing along with Peter and shooting at, but missing, Anna and Robert gets him out of the prison cell and having a possibility of escape. But in order to fool Peter, he would have to play along enough for Peter to believe he’s really being controlled! Only now, as General Hospital viewers know, Drew has Liesl Obrecht, (Kathleen Gati) Anna’s, Robert’s and Valentin’s lives to consider in his play along as well!
