General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Sean Blakemore has landed a new role. The actor, who played the role of Shawn Butler, has joined the cast of All Rise for its upcoming new season.
Thanks to Christian Keyes, fans of the actor now have an idea where they could catch their favorite star. In an Instagram post, Keyes posted a photo of himself along with Sean Blakemore, Simone Missick, and Ryan Michelle Bathe.
“Some on set shenanigans with some of the @allriseown fam. It’s truly a blessing working with these amazing, talented and hilarious people,” the caption read.
Sean Blakemore Leaves General Hospital
Back in February, Blakemore announced that he was leaving the soap less than a year after reprising is role as Shawn Butler. Fans were happy with his return but they were surprised when he announced his departure.
In a tweet, the actor thanked all of his fans for all their support. He also clarified that he wasn’t fired. As a matter of fact, it was his decision to leave General Hospital and cited “other obligations” as the primary reason. The actor didn’t give any details as to what these “obligations” were.
“The GH family has been great to me! Who knows [what’s] to come in the near future,” he said.
General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Asks Sam To Get Police Proof
Back in Port Charles, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) wants to get updates about the ongoing investigation of the video scandal. She believes that it’s all Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) fault. She thinks that the latter framed Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) but needs to find proof.
So, she asks Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) to get one for her given that she’s sleeping with a cop, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Carly thinks no one is safe unless Esme is caught. She wants to stop her before she ruins the life of someone else.
Nina Pursues Her Mission To See Wiley
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will continue to pursue her mission to see Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver). She wanted things to be settled peacefully. However, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) actions forced her to take legal action. Nina will make it clear that she’ll do everything to see Wiley even if that means going head to head with Michael and Willow.
