General Hospital Spoilers: Sasha Finds Comfort with an Old Friend — and She Likes It
General Hospital spoilers tease Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) has had the hardest year imaginable. After losing her son, Liam Mike, last December, she was faced with the death of her husband, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), in September. Just a couple of months later, she has no idea how she’s managed to put one foot in front of the other and move on with her life long enough to get to November, but she’s made it.
Sometimes, a fleeting moment presents itself in which Sasha almost feels like her whole self again. She has a long road ahead of her still, during which she needs to continue to seek help for substance abuse, and under the financial supervision of her mother-in-law, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). However, she’s going to stumble upon a great distraction soon that she didn’t see coming — Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
General Hospital Spoilers — Gladys Isn’t Enough
Sasha has been slowly returning to work, and that’s helped her to have a routine and something to put her time and energy into. She’s been helpful to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) as well since Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is missing in action. While it was a rough start at first getting Gladys to agree to sink some of Sasha’s personal wealth into Deception, things have been fairly smooth sailing since then. Sasha knows she wouldn’t be in the capable shape she’s in if not for Gladys, but that doesn’t mean having only Gladys to rely on is easy – or sufficient.
GH Spoilers Tease Sasha Commiserates with Chase
Sasha and Chase absolutely are not dealing with the same kind of grief or wounds. Chase has been betrayed by the woman he loves, and he is facing the possibility that the career he really wants is sabotaged while the one he doesn’t want is hitched to said woman. Listening to Sasha talk about life as a widow just might put Chase’s problems into perspective for him though. It might not make him appreciate BLQ any more though.
General Hospital Spoilers — What Surprises Will the Future Hold?
Just because Sasha could serve as a reminder that Chase is lucky to be alive and have someone to love, doesn’t mean he will overlook what Brook Lynn has done to him, and is continuing to do to him despite his attempts to nudge her in the right direction. Should he really have to remind his girlfriend how to treat him or have to try to keep her in line? Brook Lynn might be more like her father than Chase thought, and spending the evening with Sasha just might remind him there are other suitable fish in the sea. Is Sasha one of them? Surprisingly, she might feel hopeful about the next time she sees Chase again, but that’s where it’ll hold for now. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers so you don’t miss the moment she decides she’s ready for more!
