General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer’s Sibling Shock-Discovers Pregnant Esmé Captive?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that once Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is released from Pentonville, he might decide to go home to Wyndemere. Perhaps Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) family talk might make him decide his family is important-the only thing is, he could find more family than he bargained for!
General Hospital Spoilers: Father Forgiveness
It would just be Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) luck for Spencer to decide to forgive him and want their father and son relationship back only for Spencer to discover his secret. It’s actually two related secrets, one that Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is locked in a room in the north tower, and the other that she’s pregnant with Nikolas’ baby. Spencer actually may think it’s funny that Esmé’s in a jail cell of sorts with his father the jailer, but finding out they slept together has been hard to get past.
Nikolas could easily convince Spencer that he thinks Esmé is the one who attacked Ava and now killed two others and attacked Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) with a gaffing hook. But that baby belly would be a little harder to explain away, although Nikolas could always deny it’s his baby-after all, a paternity test still needs to be done.
GH Spoilers: He May Not Believe Esmé Prince
Of course, there is the chance that Spencer won’t believe anything Esmé says at all, knowing it would be just like her to claim Nikolas is her baby daddy. He and his father would be in perfect agreement that a paternity test needs to be done; and Spencer will want to call the police. Esmé can cry unlawful imprisonment all she wants, but Diane revealed The Hook is a woman, and even Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) thought it might be her. Nikolas is still afraid that Ava won’t take him back if she believes that he’s the baby’s father, but she already knows they had sex so the worst is behind them. There wouldn’t be a lot more damage Esmé’s pregnancy or her lies could do, plus the last victim was found right before Nikolas found her trying to break into his safe.
General Hospital Spoilers: Put The Baby First
Spencer may exhibit a lot more maturity post-Pentonville than before, even if he turns out to be a big brother to Esmé’s baby. He would maybe laugh at the irony of Esmé trapped like a rat but he’ll try to convince his father to put the baby first whether he fathered it or not. Whoever fathered Esmé’s baby, the baby is the innocent party and Esmé needs prenatal care; there may be a way to provide that in a prison.
Cassadines may be famous for vigilante justice but in this case, Spencer would think it’s just plain wrong; and if it turns out the baby is Nikolas’ they’ll provide care. Esmé will have to face justice but in the proper way, and her baby won’t become a victim of the foster care system like she perhaps did.
