General Hospital’s Trina cannot believe that Spencer is buying Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) framing stunt. Spencer and Trina were close before Esme showed up in town. However, now, Spencer seems to be the only one doubting Trina’s innocence and falling for Esme’s lies. Should Trina forget about Spencer and his holier-than-thou attitude and move on to greener pastures? After all, wasn’t Trina loyal to Spencer when he asked her to keep quiet? Has Trina ever given Spencer a reason to doubt her loyalty? Spencer knows how underhanded Esme can be, considering she helped him to stalk Ava Jerome (Maura West). Why would Spencer take Esme’s word over Trina’s? Does Spencer not realize that his girlfriend doesn’t care to lie even to him?

General Hospital Updates – Does Spencer Cassadine Deserve A Second Chance?

General Hospital’s Spencer will eventually learn that Esme has framed Trina. Trina has professed her innocence all along. Spencer has seen how loyal Trina is. Jocelyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) are the victims and they know Trina is innocent. If Spencer truly believes that Trina could expose her friends like this, he doesn’t know her at all. Should Trina even consider giving Spencer another chance after her innocence is proven? Spencer shouldn’t have to be convinced that Trina is innocent. Spencer doesn’t deserve another chance to hurt Trina either.

Trina Robinson Is Fighting For Her Freedom

General Hospital’s Trina is fighting for her freedom. Part of Trina longs for the friend she got to know when Spencer first came to town. The man Trina knew before she learned about Spencer stalking Ava. Trina needs someone she can lean on and Spencer has clearly proven that he isn’t that person. Trina deserves so much more than what she has received from him. Fans who wanted them together are disgusted with Spencer’s treatment of Trina and some believe that he deserves to be stuck with Esme after dismissing Trina so easily.

Will Trina and Spencer ever be able to work this out? Can their friendship possibly survive Spencer’s lack of trust? Doesn’t Spencer owe Trina the benefit of the doubt since she forgave him for lying to her more than once?
