General Hospital (GH) fans might argue that Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) is famous, or rubs shoulders with other rich and famous folks. But she’s not immune to fan-girling. Read on to find out more.
A Rare Photo
Ahead of the weekend, Nancy Lee Grahn took to her Instagram and shared a photo of herself with her sister. It’s not often that ABC daytime soap fans see her family. Well, apart from Kate, Nancy’s daughter who seems quite good as a singer.
Nancy had recently been away on a vacation in Canada, and when she caught up with her sister stateside, the two women got together for a meal. But, the event was even more memorable because of who they bumped into.
In her caption Nancy wrote:
Took my sis to breakfast, James Carville walked in and we jumped him like he was a Beatle.
In the comments section, lots of GH followers also raved about James Carville. But a few others weren’t sure why he’s considered special.
Who Is Carville?
Per PBS, he “served as a campaign strategist, and helped elect Bill Clinton to the presidency.” But there’s much more to the man. Obviously, Nancy Lee Grahn loves that he sits on what she considers the right side of the red and blue lines in the USA,
However, she could also have fan-girled him because he served in the U.S. Marine Corps before becoming a lawyer. Additionally, he and his wife co-authored, “All’s Fair: Love, War, and Running for President.”
Folks React In the Comments
Those who are aware of James Carville showed the love in the comments section. One General Hospital fan told Nancy Lee Grahn, “James Carville is an American hero and champion of freedom of speech!”
Here are a few more reactions from the discussion:
- LOVE LOVE LOVE James! I could listen to him speak all day long.
- He’s the best! You’re so lucky!!
- Oh wow!!! My Louisiana mama will love this!
- Always interested in what James has to say!
Vocal & Raw
Many folks like Carville because he uses raw language, isn’t afraid to cuss, and dishes his opinions straight up. Recently on Politicon, he slammed the Supreme Court for “legal corruption, gerrymandering, and the blatant disregard for democracy.“
As Nancy Lee Grahn often vents about similar issues on her social media, no doubt the trio had more to talk about than most folks would.
