Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was the most adored little girl on General Hospital. She has quite the Port Charles pedigree.
She is the only child of Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and her mom is none other than Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Mobster Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was her stepfather for most of her life and her brother is Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
GH legend Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) is Joss’ grandmother, which makes the also legendary Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) her great-uncle.
General Hospital fans loved Josslyn, until recently.
Fans Fell in Love With Josslyn Jacks During The Oscar Storyline
Joss has always been a bit of a mini-me to her mom, Carly. That was good or bad depending on whether or not you are a Carly fan.
But teenage Josslyn came into her own when she fell in love with young Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt). They had an adorable first love story until it turned out that Oscar had cancer. Watching their romance play out while they both knew that Oscar was dying was heart-wrenching.
Joss was such a great support to Oscar and his whole family. She stood by her boyfriend until he took his last breath, and his death crushed her.
We watched her go through grief with the help of her friends Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Trina Robinson (then Sydney Mikayla) and come out the other side.
Fans cheered for her when she eventually fell for Cameron.
Josslyn Has Become Unlikable On General Hospital
Josslyn was great for a while. She was in love with Cam and was a good friend to Trina. She stood by her friend when it looked like Trina was the one who taped and distributed Joss and Cam’s first time. She always knew Trina was innocent and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) was the real culprit.
When the mysterious Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) appeared, Joss changed. She fell for Sonny’s right-hand man and broke Cam’s heart when she ended their relationship and didn’t tell him the real reason.
Joss is young and makes mistakes just like anyone, but the character has now become spoiled and self-righteous.
She is ready to put Sonny in prison for the rest of his life when he treated her like a daughter and loved her for years.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) died saving her life and she didn’t even have the decency to come forward or show up at her funeral.
Josslyn is acting spoiled and privileged, even throwing Morgan in her mom’s face when she wasn’t getting her way.
Fans are not liking this new Josslyn Jacks.
Can Josslyn Jacks Be Redeemed?
Characters on General Hospital are redeemed all the time so there is no reason that won’t happen to Joss. She and Dex have the makings of a great young love story. If she changes her attitude, they could become a hugely popular couple on GH.
Stay tuned to General Hospital to see if some of the nicer Josslyn will mix in with the mature version of the character. Fans would love to love her again.
