General Hospital Spoilers: Is Selina the “Boss Lady” Behind Mason’s Motives?
General Hospital spoilers reveal Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is a woman of many talents and connections. She has managed to infiltrate the world of organized crime in Port Charles, using her intelligence and shrewd business acumen to her advantage. While her true motives remain unclear, it is becoming apparent that Selina wants to take over Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) territories and become the new top dog in town.
This won’t be easy, and many have failed at attempting it over the years. But Selina thinks she has an ace up her sleeve that will help her succeed — weakening Sonny by going after his family first. What better way to attack her enemy than to make sure he’s cut off at the knees when she makes her move?
General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny is the Most Dangerous Man Ava Knows
One of Selina’s key assets could be Mason Gatlin (Nathanael Grey), a ruthless mob enforcer who seems to be under her control. Well, he’s under someone’s control. Mason has been given the task of gathering information on Sonny’s dealings with the Pikeman Group, to which he has passed the buck to Ava Jerome (Maura West). But so far, Ava hasn’t taken the bait.
Selina’s plan seems to revolve around Ava’s close relationship with Sonny, whom she shares a daughter with. By using Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) as leverage, Mason has been pressuring Ava to work her connection to Sonny to his advantage, but as it stands right now, Ava is still more fearful of Sonny than she is of whoever is ordering Mason around.
GH Spoilers Suggest Austin Works for Her, too
Last year, we saw Mason come into the picture as a distant cousin who pestered Austin Gatlin Holy (Roger Howarth) for illegal and unethical favors from time to time. Although, it never appeared Austin really had any room to say no to whatever Mason asked, or rather, demanded. At some point, Austin said he wasn’t going to abide by the “boss lady’s” terms anymore and he wasn’t going to let her call the shots in his life moving forward. That’s when things took a more serious turn and Mason started issuing threats against people that Austin cares about. Could Austin have caved and gone back to work for Sellina just to keep the peace?
General Hospital Spoilers — This Goes Back to Brando and The Hook
Recall when Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was killed, that Sonny suspected Selina may have been up to something and she insisted she was his ally. But rumor has it Selina may have helped Heather Webber (alley mills) pull off some of her crimes as The Hook, and that it was always about targeting Sonny’s family. Selina knows Sonny will be crippled by overwhelming grief if she plays her cards right against the people he loves. In the meantime, she’ll count on some of those people rolling over on him.
