General Hospital star Jonathan Bennett (Detective Joe Fitzpatrick) had a serious gig aboard the Norwegian Joy on the 2026 Hallmark Christmas Cruise because he was confirmed as the co-host. But the seriousness evaporated fast, and daytime TV fans loved it.
Star-Studded Fun
The GH star was confirmed to rub shoulders with folks like “Benjamin Ayres, Rachel Boston, B.J. Britt, Wes Brown, Erin Cahill, Paul Campbell, Taylor Cole, Sarah Drew, Heather Hemmens, Will Kemp, Daniel Lissing, Brendan Penny, Kimberley Sustad, Emilie Ullerup, Andrew Walker… and Ashley Williams,” per Entertainment Now.
But Jonathan Bennett was co-hosting with Nikki DeLoach. He co-hosted the whole cruise, sailaway party, Festive Feud, bingo with Daniel Lissing, and helped to announce next year’s cruise, per People.
The Silent Disco
However, the serious role certainly disappeared in a hurry, judging by a reel that Bennett and his husband, Jaymes Vaughan, jointly shared on Instagram.
The reel showed Jaymes dancing during the “Silent Disco.” Then he stopped and looked out over the crowd below. He scanned the activities going on and wrote in his text overlay, “Lost my husband at the silent disco.”
General Hospital fans loved it because the cameras zoomed in, and there was Jonathan Bennett, hoisted by the crowd and having a good time crowd-surfing.
Jonathan’s comment was simply, “Typical night on the Hallmark Christmas Cruise.” Well, that might be true, but Jaymes acted his shock and awe so well, many people giggled.
